Allows longer-term storage of the sample

The ProLong Antifade Kit provides a powdered antifade reagent and a liquid mounting medium that can be mixed together and applied directly to fluorescently labeled cell or tissue samples on microscope slides to protect the dyes from fading (photobleaching) during fluorescence microscopy experiments.

  • Protects dyes from fading during imaging
  • Mix powdered antifade with mounting medium and use the same day
  • Mounted samples are stable for months
  • Offers excellent photobleaching protection for Texas Red™ and most Alexa Fluor™ dyes
  • Liquid mounting medium component can be used without antifade reagent for acceptor photobleaching FRET experiments
