Returning an Order

To initiate a return online on the Fisher Scientific website, follow these updated steps:

Returns are available for guest users via single order look up from the main header navigation. This will land you on the order details page where you will see the “Request Return” button.

Or follow these instructions if you have a fishersci web account log in:

  1. Log in to your account using your registered email address and password. Once logged in, navigate to the Order Status.
  2. Improved visibility for returns: You will notice a link at the top of the Order Details page. Click on this link to start the return process for the specific order. Alternatively, you can find a link to the Returns Request page in the footer of the website. Click on this link to access the returns process.
  3. Review the messaging and return restrictions: Take the time to carefully review the messaging provided, as it will include important information regarding return eligibility. Note that return restrictions may apply for non-catalog, discontinued, or non-returnable items. All returns terms and conditions can be found here.
  4. Select the item, quantity, and reason: On the Returns Request page, select the item(s) you wish to return from your order. Specify the quantity of each item and choose the appropriate reason for the return.
  5. Answer additional questions: Customer Service may require you to answer additional questions to process your return. Provide the requested information accurately and thoroughly to expedite the return process.
  6. Submit photos (if applicable): If the return is due to damages, receipt of the wrong product, or failure to maintain proper temperature, you are required to submit photos as evidence. Follow the instructions provided to submit the necessary photos.
  7. Prepopulated contact information: Your contact information may be prepopulated based on your account information. Ensure that the information is accurate and make any necessary updates if required.
  8. Acknowledge the return policy: Check the box to acknowledge that you have read and understood the return policy. It is important to be aware of the terms and conditions associated with the return.
  9. Confirmation page and email: After submitting the return request, you will be directed to a confirmation page. Additionally, you will receive an email confirming that your return request has been received. Customer Service team will reach out as necessary.
