Functional Assays: Promotes cell attachment and spreading of HT-1080 human fibrosarcoma cells. Collagen I promotes attachment and growth of murine endothelial SVEC4-10 cells in 3-D culture. Gelling Assay: Type I collagen forms a firm gel at neutral pH and 37°C when diluted to 0.4 mg/ml.
