Description
The Waterproof Thermistor Thermometer is a rugged meter that can be used indoors or outdoors. A wide variety of thermistor probes are available for temperature measurements from -50.0 to 150°C (HI762BL air/liquid probe included). Optional Calibration Test Keys are available to perform fast, simple accuracy checks. The easy-to-use system includes a wide range of features:
- 0°C Calibration: CAL button allows calibration of the meter and probe in an ice bath
- °C/°F Readout: Switch between scales with a simple button press
- Backlit Display: User-activated backlighting ensures readings are easy to view in dim or bright conditions
- Interchangeable Probes: Use any HI 762 thermistor probe for the sample type
- HI/LO Function: Max and Min temperatures continuously monitored and displayed
- HOLD Function: Freezes the display (without interrupting monitoring) to allow time to record readings
- Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS): Shuts the meter off when battery power is too low for an accurate measurement
- Low Battery Protection: Warning symbol blinks when the battery level is below 10%; automatic shut-off can be set for 8 min, 60 min or disabled.
