Description

The NuPAGE Bis-Tris Resupply Pack streamlines your protein separation workflow. This pack, sufficient for 100 gel runs, includes precast midi gels, running buffer, and protein ladders. NuPAGE Bis-Tris gels offer high-resolution separation while maintaining protein integrity in a neutral pH environment. Designed for optimal separation of a wide range of protein sizes under denaturing conditions, they're ideal for protein sequencing, mass spectrometry, and other techniques where protein integrity is critical. With a long 16 month shelf life and stringent QC process, this pack is a reliable and convenient solution for your laboratory needs.

The NuPAGE Bis-Tris Resupply Pack contains:

  • NuPAGE Bis-Tris gels (10 boxes, 100 gels)
  • NuPAGE MES Running Buffer, 20X (5 bottles, Cat. No. NP0002)
  • PageRuler Plus Pre-stained Protein Ladder, 10 to 250 kDa (Cat. No. 26619)

About NuPAGE Gels

Invitrogen NuPAGE Bis-Tris protein gels are precast polyacrylamide gels designed for optimal separation of a wide range of proteins under denaturing conditions. Their neutral pH environment is key to minimizing protein modifications, making them ideal for applications where maintaining protein integrity is crucial, such as sequencing and mass spectrometry. These gels offer fast protein separation, delivering results in as little as 35 minutes. Midi format NuPAGE gels offer increased sample throughput per gel, enhancing efficiency, increasing reproducibility, and decreasing cost per sample. Additionally, their long shelf-life of 16 months at room temperature adds to their practicality and convenience, making them an excellent choice for everyday laboratory use.

Separation

For running Invitrogen protein gels, you have the flexibility to use either the SureLock Tandem Midi Gel Tank (STM1001) or the XCell4 SureLock Midi-Cell (WR0100). Both systems are designed to provide optimal performance. The SureLock Tandem offers rapid and efficient electrophoresis of midi gels in a leak-free system, with minimal buffer usage. The two independent chambers allow for electrophoresis of one or two gels simultaneously, conserving buffer and reducing waste. Alternatively, the XCell4 SureLock Midi-Cell is a robust and efficient system for midi-gel electrophoresis. Its standout feature is its capacity to simultaneously run up to four midi gels, enabling high-throughput protein analysis with enhanced efficiency and convenience. Additionally, the SureLock Tandem Midi Gel Tank is conveniently available through Invitrogen Precast Gel Welcome Packs along with both sample buffer and reducing agent, providing an all-in-one solution for your electrophoresis needs.

Transfer

For transferring your proteins to a membrane, we recommend using for NuPAGE Transfer Buffer (NP0006) for traditional wet transfer using the SureLock Tandem Midi Blot Module (STM2001). Alternatively, rapid semi-dry transfer can be done using the Invitrogen Power Blotter or rapid dry transfer using the iBlot 3 Gel Transfer Device (IB31001).
