- Float glass plates of 4mm thick provides uniform gel thickness and sample migration, and with ground edges inhibits sample leakage during casting
- Triple screws present on each gel-clamp acts in conjunction with a counterbalanced, dovetailed silicone gasket to disperse pressure evenly along the height and breadth of the gel as the screws are tightened
