Description
SR 9238 is a potent and selective LXR inverse agonist (IC50 values are 43 and 214 nM for LXRβ and LXRα, respectively). Selectively inhibits liver LXR over peripheral LXR. Exhibits selectivity for LXR over a panel of 20 other nuclear receptors, including FXR. Reduces hepatic steatosis in obese mice.Specifications
